Extreme distance runner (and pastor) Mark Swanson blogs at http://ultrapastor.blogspot.com/. Check it out, but don't take everything he says, expecially about the benefits of running, too seriously. On the other hand, he claims marriage is beneficial, too.
And I'm not sure about how many times he's read The Lord of the Rings, either.

Since you asked: If you click on "customize" in the upper right corner; then "add a page element" and then the link box and you should be able to figure out from there how to add links.
Well, just how many times have you read LOTR anyway?
I see you have the same problem I do. My sister claims that in my house the holy scriptures begin with "In a hole there lived a hobbit ..." She doesn't buy this whole "no, my life is based on what Jesus taught" thing.
It didn't help when I started correcting the Trivial Pursuit game that was based on the movies instead of the books. sigh
I'm about to post my letter to NPR's Morning Edition paralleling MLK's affirmation of absolute morality with Tolkein's parallel affirmation from the "The Two Towers." I have problems with Frodo's prayers to Elbereth Githoniel, but I find the tacitly Christian atmosphere of Middle Earth exhilarating.
